Igor Burák
freelance translator since 1991, with vast technical experience. Graduated in 1989 with a degree in Engineering from the Electrotechnical Faculty at the Slovakian Technical University in Bratislava, with a specialization in microelectronics.
Fascinated by languages since he was young (both parents worked as foreign language teachers), he currently speaks 4 languages and passively knows another 4: Slovak native speaker , equivalent Czech (24 years in the former Czechoslovakia with daily contact with Czech and Slovak), very good Italian (19 years in Italy) and with a good knowledge of English.
He possesses technical and linguistic experience gained in 16 years as a test technician, PLC/VT/PC programmer and author of technical manuals in a wide range of industrial sectors and business trips all over the world.
A translator since 1991, full time since 2006.
